Navitaire, owners of the OpenSkies system, either have a calendar mix up
concerning April Fool's Day, or believe the best way to deal with
overwhelming competition is to harrass the AirKiosk System community.
The AirKiosk system, and all components of it, were independently developed.
At Sutra we're very protective of our intellectual property rights and
equally respectful of others'. But in fact, we've never heard of the 1997
product in Navitaire's letter, and among the varied websites of our
customers, have no idea which one is disturbing them.
We suggest that Navitaire do their best to stay in the market based on the
merits of their system and technology. We have, of course, asked our legal
advisors for any additional suggestions for Navitaire.
The AirKiosk System's Superior Functions
The AirKiosk System offers the most advanced online consumer booking
functions in the world. We were the first to provide online booking change
and calendar-based, real-time low fare availability, in April 2003.
The AirKiosk System's architecture is fully compatible and integrated with
the Internet. Our system operates completely on high-performance servers
running the Linux operating system, TCP/IP and our own applications and
database software. This has been our architecture and platform since the
origins of the AirKiosk system in 1995.
